A Letter from Lady D’Winter to…?

21 Feb

Dear Sir. As requested I informed the gentleman from the commission that the Hilton girl, while initially enrolled in my school for the year, departed instead with her parents after both girl and parents could not bare to be parted from one another. This then confirmed your reports of the girl having sailed on the ship with her parents. I was required to show my paperwork but my assistant had already made the necessary adjustments and the commission was satisfied. If you would please make the second payment as promptly as you are able, Regards, Lady D’Winter.

See, I just thought she was evil to be keeping Bobbie as unpaid labor. But she’s taking money from the Commission (whatever that is!).
D’Winter is still evil of course, but this just adds to the mystery!

Still evil, just ads to the mystery, lol! So true! Thanks for the comment!

I’ve only recently found your story!
But I have loved every part of it 😀
Exciting, tense and downright twisting ^_^
Wonderful writing technique as well, and I love the CC and the balance of the poses!

What an evil thing for Lady D’Winter to do! Money’s obviously more important to her than Bobbie’s happiness. I wonder who’s paying her off though…

Yeah, it is. Money is very important to her (like how she gets cheap servants not because she wants to train the up but because they are cheap.)
But yes, who is paying her off? That’s the question… and why…

Well, my theory is that Lady D’ Winter is in league with the Highland Killer and that the Highland Killer is paying her so he can get closer to Bobbie, hence kill her too, I would also guess that the mysterious sci-fi man in some of the pictures is the Highland Killer, 😀

I like this theory! 😀 As I say all the time, I love reading theories, lol. I’m not saying if it’s right or wrong, but keep this in theory in mind when you read Chapter twenty-four. tehehe
